Refund Policy

1. General principle

This refund policy applies to paid services purchased through the dad.pinc.be website. Two refund paths apply, depending on how the service was purchased:

  • Paddle-purchased services (Simplified audit, AI-assisted in-depth audit): payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record.
  • Quote-based services (In-depth audit — Human testing): the service is invoiced and paid directly to Pinc Consulting SRL by bank transfer. Refunds, where applicable, are also processed directly by Pinc Consulting by bank transfer to the account from which payment originated.

2. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

In accordance with European consumer law, consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase (Paddle-purchased services) or from the date the offer is accepted (quote-based services).

2.1 Before delivery

If your deliverable (accessibility statement, audit report) has not yet been generated and made available, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase (or within 14 days of accepting the offer, for quote-based services — see Section 2.3 for the specifics of the 50% deposit).

2.2 After delivery

DAD services are digital content. In accordance with Article VI.53, 13° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU:

Once your deliverable has been generated and made available to you, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised, provided that you have given your prior consent to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledged the loss of your right of withdrawal.

This consent is requested during the ordering process (Paddle checkout) or at offer acceptance (quote-based services).

2.3 Specifics of the 50% deposit (quote-based services)

For the In-depth audit — Human testing, the audit work begins only after the 50% deposit has been received on Pinc Consulting’s bank account. If you exercise your right of withdrawal before work has started, the deposit is refunded in full by bank transfer. Once work has started with your prior consent to immediate performance, the right of withdrawal is lost and the deposit is not refundable.

2.4 Business customers

Business customers (legal entities and self-employed professionals acting within their professional activity) have no statutory right of withdrawal under European consumer law. Section 4 below and the specific conditions of the accepted offer remain applicable.

4. Special cases

4.1 Technical issue

If a technical issue on our part prevents the delivery of the ordered service, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the time elapsed.

4.2 Non-conforming deliverable

If the deliverable clearly does not match the ordered service (for example, an audit covering a different website than the one specified), we undertake to correct the deliverable or, if correction is not possible, to issue a full refund.

4.3 Quote-based audit

For the In-depth audit — Human testing, the specific refund conditions are set out in the accepted offer. Typical provisions include:

  • Full refund of the 50% deposit if you withdraw before work has started.
  • No refund of the 50% deposit once work has started with your prior consent.
  • Invoicing of the balance (50%) upon delivery of the deliverables.

In the absence of any contrary provision in the offer, this policy applies.


5. How to request a refund

To request a refund:

5.1 Paddle-purchased services (Simplified audit, AI-assisted in-depth audit)

  1. By email: send your request to dad@pinc.be specifying your order number and the reason for your request.
  2. Via Paddle: you may also contact Paddle directly via the link in your order confirmation email.

5.2 Quote-based services (In-depth audit — Human testing)

Send your request by email to dad@pinc.be, specifying the offer reference and the reason for your request. Paddle is not involved in this path.


6. Refund processing

6.1 Paddle-purchased services

  • Refunds are processed by Paddle via the payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Processing time is generally 5 to 10 business days after approval of the request.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.

6.2 Quote-based services

  • Refunds are processed directly by Pinc Consulting SRL by bank transfer to the account from which payment originated.
  • Processing time is generally 5 to 10 business days after approval of the request, subject to inter-bank settlement times.
  • You will receive an email confirmation and a corresponding credit note (avoir / nota di credito) once the refund has been issued.
